I wanted our kids to feel connected, not left behind... so I created a countdown (or rather count-up) calendar.
Instead of counting down to the end of the trip, they're counting up to the joy of reunion.
Each day brings us closer to the hugs, the snuggles, and the welcome-home dance parties.
Try this next time you travel - it's a simple way to say, "You are safe, and I'm coming back."
